Jurgen Klopp has hinted that Conor Bradley could be an option to start at left-back for Liverpool.

The 20-year-old defender is regarded as one of the Reds’ most exciting prospects, with Bradley flourishing out on loan with Bolton Wanderers last season.

With Bradley now also an established member of Northern Ireland’s senior squad, things are looking promising for the teenage fullback, who could now be offered a chance by Klopp.

Speaking to the press ahead of tomorrow’s Premier League clash against Sheffield United, the Liverpool manager hinted that Bradley could be an option to play at left-back.

With Andy Robertson out injured, the position has seen the likes of Kostas Tsimikas and Joe Gomez play in the role, and Klopp mentioned that Bradley could also be a candidate for the role.

Klopp said: “It’s just about us and who is available. Conor Bradley, Joe Gomez, can one play left-back because Kostas can’t play all the games. We will see. Trent obviously [played well] in the last game.”

Bradley has the potential to become quite the fullback for Liverpool, especially with the youngster capable of playing on both flanks.

And for the Reds heading into the festive period, the Northern Ireland international could be a good option to play at left-back if Klopp wants to shake things up in the defence.

Indeed, the defender has shown in the last 12 months that he has real potential to become a top fullback at a Premier League level, an asset that could be valuable for Liverpool.

And over the upcoming weeks, Bradley should be given a chance to impress for the Reds in the Premier League, with the defender more than ready for the chance.
